I guess all of America is talking about Seattle’s Richard Sherman today and his outburst after the game yesterday against San Francisco. I understand there is no room for getting all bigoted about it, but I think what is being lost in the whole debate and outrage is the interview itself.

All the time everyone is told, don’t judge me by my skin, judge me by my actions. Maybe he should have considered his actions.

I have a feeling in a few years when Stewart grows up a bit more and is out of the game, he will look back on the whole thing and be left with one feeling all his own. Embarrassment.

I can hear him in a few years saying “what was I doing/thinking?” Maybe he will be able to use it all to teach some kids class rises above all color, religion, politics…everything. And when you maintain class, it gives the bigots and haters a whole lot less ammo to be outraged about.

And on this day, I should think one MLK would help teach him that lesson.
