When the GOP controls DC, they always find a way to fund defense, no matter how many of their small government/balanced budget principles they have to abandon. It’s how they roll.

Let’s see how Jeb and Marco and others respond. In the GOP primaries, it may not be a smart strategy to go against the Donald on immigration. My guess is Jeb and Marco will simply mouth platitudes about border security, and otherwise try to avoid the issue.
