There is no Democrat you don’t vote for (except that guy in Wyoming or Montana or wherever that’s actually a Republican running as a Democrat).
Sorry, that is not how I roll. I pilloried Mitt Romney and Rauner himself for shielding their wealth in the Caribbean. It is going to be hard for me to turn around and vote for someone who is involved in an even worse tax avoidance scheme (and then lied about it!) simply because there is a D after his name. You do you, I’ll do me.
If it makes you feel any better, Hillary had no problem whatsoever winning Illinois with a Republican governor in the state house. This is not a swing state where the sitting governor has significant power to swing elections.
