Just search Harry Reid on Obama, or even more astonishingly, Joe the Veep, for their off-the-cuff remarks in the area of race, which, said by a Republican, would have resulted in the offender’s removal from Congress. Fortunately, since they were democrats, ergo inherently incapable of racism, there was no mens rea assumed, only poor phrasing.
