Brilliant stuff. One of the reports recalls a ’50s SF story in which big game hunters were allowed to travel back on time safaris to bag a T.Rex. The guides were very careful to permit slug impact only at the dino’s moment of ‘natural’ death. It worked until a falling dino crushed a butterfly in a critical path.

The SyFy channel did that story as one of their made for T.V. “B” movies…I forget the title though.
