She’s not the worst person he could have chosen for the job but this is still an odd pick IMO.

You have to put all of his nominations through the ‘The best and brightest all said no’ filter, and then they make (slightly) more sense.

If this were an NBA draft, he’d be restricted to picking second rounders and undraftables.
