True. I doubt that Trump feels any regret or responsibility for the death of the SEAL in the botched Yemen raid. It’s the responsibility of the position that takes a toll on normal presidents. Trump has no responsibility to anyone but himself, so doubtless doesn’t fret about things like the deaths of other people.

However, narcissists do stress greatly about negative attention. Trump can’t tolerate being laughed it. So SNL is creating definite stress in Trump. Simply mocking him in ways he can’t or won’t ignore freaks him out. Which puts it on the top of my resist Trump playbook.

He wants and needs undeserved respect (and has already complained about not getting it), so protests have a role as well. The blatant disrespect is impossible for him to ignore, so I’m sure they contribute to his stress. So in my playbook.

Narcissists also can’t handle being blamed or made responsible for anything bad that results from their actions. Everything, even if it requires some incredibly convoluted “reasoning” to get there, is someone else’s fault. One of the quickest ways, in my experience, to really upset a true narcissist is to assign blame to them. I’ve seen history revised, lies told, evasions, DARVO, etc. in attempts to refuse to accept any responsibility. And we see Trump manifesting the same behaviors. So we need to be loud and clear about things that are his fault.

We’re on the right track to make Trump’s hair fall out. At which point, he’ll resign. ;-)
