I’m sure of that. And I’m sorry if I sound dismissive but those communities really aren’t representative of our country. Some stories about them are fine but where the hell were the stories about counties that Clinton won and actually in fact outperformed Obama. Not to take anything away from Obama’s accomplishments but the media ignored that there were quite a bit of places where she in fact did better than he did.

The big thing is the shift in focus, from the early day “These are the communities Dems need to win back!” to the current “These are the communities that still cling to Trump despite his being a total fuck-up.” By this time next year, it will be “These are the communities that are totally going to give Trump a second term!”
