I was going to suggest that you can mute people on Facebook so that you don’t see their posts, but I like your solution better. Hey, look, you’re already cutting down on the negativity in your life! :)

I’ve had a couple of bouts of depression (but probably nothing like what you’re going through) and people just don’t understand that you can’t just decide to feel happier. IMO, you can lay the blame for that on the daytime talk shows that promote The Secret, and Dr. Phil, and every crackpot and charlatan who wants to peddle a book about “what doctors don’t want you to know”.
