The one difference on that front is that it’s pretty easy to find footage of Sanders saying he’s a Democratic Socialist. Make the background a waving red flag, have him say that, and maybe mute “Democratic” as he says it.

All I say about that is that if I were a Republican, I would start every ad about him with that. Sanders needs a five word statement to counter that; anything longer and people won’t hear it. Never underestimate the stupidity of the American people.

I don’t think you even need to remove “Democratic” from Socialist. The plot is already set. He is already a commie to the RWNJs. Once marked, it will never be undone. That is how tiny brains work. No room for corrections once what they want to hear is loaded. And the Republican will smear with it at will.
