i am more concerned that it’s a way to engender and strengthen ties between turkey and syria, since turkey is trying to become a power player AND is proud of its secular heritage + position between europe and the middle east.

post.flotilla, turkey is sort of a loose cannon.

the middle east chessboard is realigning itself, and i have no idea how it will ultimately shake out.

I think Turkey will mellow out.
