In most cases, I’ve been pretty 50/50 on whether the protesters or the cops were causing the problem. Here, it’s really obviously the cops. Passive resistance is hard to deal with, but what real pressing public safety is challenged by the kids sitting on the lawn? Why is it so god-damn important to get them off that you nearly provoke a riot and hospitalize a few of them?
