It would be one thing if they’d both run good campaigns and Ted eked out a victory, but we’ve had one amazing campaign and one undeniably shitty and obtuse one and there’s a decent possibility the shitty and obtuse one is going to win.

Which would be another reason for the GOP to panic. Ted should be able to drop a deuce on stage and win with better than 60% of the vote in Texas. Yet he’s ahead by less than 5% in most of the polls. It means Texas is not the safe haven the GOP have come to rely upon.
