One can see by the list of videos that accompany this one at YouTube that these kooks are supporting a candidate for congress in New Mexico. He is running as a Republican. He claims to have party support, but I have heard otherwise. However, I have also heard that the Republicans may not put up another candidate, because they never win that seat anyway. Which makes this kook the standard-bearer for the party in his district. Makes me ill.

These are the kind of fights the Party must not shy away from.

They need to paint the guy as a fringe kook otherwise all of their other candidates will suffer from what will be portrayed as their support for the nut.
