Sort of surprised the Army’s getting away with this. Figured the manufacturers would be throwing a shit fit over the idea that they’re not getting paid hefty fees to provide years worth of replacement parts at massively inflated prices.

The Army is using these things in a war zone, where getting parts quickly saves lives. The manufacturers may not like it, but they know Congress isn’t going to oppose this sort of thing. Doing so would look horrendous for the Congressman who did so.
