Republicans have always had a bee in their bonnets about absentee ballots, claiming that Democrats drive around, steal them, fill them in, forge signatures, and drop them off en masse. They claim this is how the infamously corrupt cities of the 1970’s - New York, Chicago - became Democratic strongholds. From that perspective, it makes little difference if the ballot is a marked sheet of paper or a pile of electrons in a wire somewhere.

Yeah, I know what their position on this is, but there really isn’t a difference between that claim and people supposedly switching votes on machines, etc., etc. They’re just sorry they lost.
