A few years ago I would have guessed it was a leftist or sudden jihad syndrome. Sadly we can now put anti-government libertarian into the mix of possible motives.

Somehow, Killgore, I don’t think that’s the case here. Such folks tend to take their ire out on law enforcement, the FBI, ATF, etc, not the military.

As for SJS, no, I don’t think so either. There have been plenty of cases where some far left-wing anti-war nut has gone on a rampage against the military. Shoot, there are enough Kossack-types out there pissed off at Obama for staying in Iraq and Afghanistan.
