In all fairness, time out of session is not ‘time off’. They have a lot of work in their home states. The ‘vacation’ meme is BS whether applied to congresscritters or the President. The Prez is never ‘off’.

While I understand that, I’m not sure I’m ready to believe that there is _that much_ work to do “back home”. But, I am content to be proven wrong.
