I just wish Nixon and those like her would just start at the ground and move up. There’s an arrogance that many celebs turned politicians have that really bug me. It’s easy to shit on so called career politicians but nearly all of them work their way from the lower levels up.

I agree, although of course one could point to Ronald Reagan and Arnold Schwarzenneger as two celebs who went straight to running for gov. But I still don’t think it’s good practice.
