One is someone you have approach and even some policy disagreements with. The other is someone who has a guy from Breitbart as his top campaign aide and the pig that’s been pushing racist and sexist bullshit at FNC as another. The road to progress is just that. A road.
Y’know? I don’t have to like Mrs. Clinton. (I do, but that is irrelevant here.) She is not running to be my best friend.
All I need to know is if she would competently and faithfully carry out the duties of the office she is running for.
I already know the answer to that with Mr. Trump. For a lot of people who support him, he does seem to be running to be their best friend.
Gaaa. Even when I was in the military, I didn’t want my supervisors to be my friend, I wanted them to be competent. (When I was a supervisor myself, I tried to do the same with my subordinates.) Fair and competent treatment was what I expected from my supervisors.
That is also what I expect from my president. I don’t expect I would agree with the President on every issue (I’m not running for the job).
