Yes. I can begin with the 1960s. I tried Quisp, but did not like it. So we never bought it again. Pop-Tarts were OK, but my mom’s bread was way better. I’ve had Egg McMuffins, but long after I left home. As for the other stuff, nope. Way too hipster for me.
Why does Bon Appetit ignore bacon and eggs, pancakes and syrup, sausage, corn flakes, bagel+cream cheese, half a grapefruit, cinnamon toast, etc.? Those I thought were staples of the all-American breakfast.
I think the primary purpose of that segment was to put together an array that would gross out little kids. It’s kinda boring to watch kids eat food they enjoy (unless they’re your own kids or grandkids)
