That reminds me: When I was in Park Rapids the weekend before this past one, I checked into the little budget motel there, and at their guest station (where they have a computer, phone, etc.), the phone was an honest-to-God rotary phone. I hadn’t seen one of those in 15 years.

They’re not supported by the phone network anymore, so the only place you’d see one is somewhere with their own ancient phone system that interfaces with the modern network.
