As I understand it the ONLY reason this is considered an epidemic is because it can be spread by human to human contact, but that doesn’t make a lot of sense to me - hell ALL flu’s are spread by human to human contact, aren’t they? So why is this one such a big deal? Seriously, I’m NOT belittiling the poor folks who’ve died from this (all in Mexico, iirc) but what makes it an “epidemic”?
