I was listening to those guys on Youtube a few nights back. I got to see Doug Sahm play live with Gene Taylor and Amos Garret in Edmonton in the late ’80s. That trio put out an album entitled “Return of the Formerly Brothers.” It’s well worth looking for.

Doug Sahm moved around a lot while Augie came back to San Antonio.
I enjoyed the Texas Tornados.
