Regardless of the details, I’ll repeat that the whole sordid episode shows a lack of judgement and self control that this country can’t afford in its leaders.

Any private company, small or large, would fire anyone found doing the same (not only if on company time). I find it odd that many people seem to think being elected puts this in a different category.

The difference about this category is that his constituents get to do the firing. They did the hiring. It has to be pretty bad for his co-workers to give him the boot.
