The huge suits and long ties are almost certainly because HE thinks it hides just how fat he’s gotten. I’m willing to bet he gets measured for them, but wants it to be big and loose because he believes it hide the bulk.

Yeah: as much money as Cheeto Benito has, it couldn’t be THAT much of a problem to find some tailor to stitch up some suits that would make him look like Park Avenue Hercules (which, after all, is why “bespoke” tailors still have an industry). Except that to Trump (IMHO), his outfits are basically a “costume” - seriously, he’s dressed the same, standardized way for decades - and that how he looks as “President” is, to him, irrelevant. Since “ratings” are his main goal, keeping the “popular character” (in his easily-recognizable costume) going is the main thing…
