You know what is really hard? We collected books and papers on our chosen subject of life, and the house is full. I am working at getting everything organized and catalogued and digitized. My spreadsheet overfloweth!

Just do what Mrs. FBW does: organize one spot at the expense of all others. Then insist your Significant Other ‘Oooo and Ahhh’, and ignore the chaos you’ve caused in the rest of the house.

Next week, organize another spot, trashing the spot you just organized.

We used to have a white plastic etagere. It was a roving nexus of organization in our house, but chaos followed in its wake.
