I said SYG aside, because it is such a piece of crap, it can give one person the right to legally start a fight because of the “reasonable belief” they are in danger and simultaneously give the other party the right to legally end said fight for the same reason. I think everyone agrees the law is bad(except maybe the Florida legislature).

You can’t put SYG aside. It’s right in the middle of the whole situation and George Zimmerman’s defense. Seems to me that the best way to fight that is point out that he may have scared the shit out of Trayvon, who then under the law had the right to stand his ground.
