Hell, I’d settle for a neutral “slant.”

My problem with most of the “conservative talk show hosts”—and that includes the mighty Rush Limbaugh—is that they are all bombast, all the time, and their commercials are an offense to the sense of hearing.

Wouldn’t it be great? I remember Bill Buckley’s “Firing Line”. He seemed able to put together a program that was conservative, yet civil, enlightening, and sometimes funny. He knew what “bombast” meant, and knew how to avoid it.
