I’ll share an anecdote from my travels here in Japan. Son and I chose to eat at a little pizza joint near where we were staying in Azaba-Juban, Tokyo. Nice place, fairly quiet - until five American finance guys came in and sat down at the table next to ours. Mind you, this pizza place has only six indoor tables plus several counter stools, so it’s small. The jazz playing in the background was not loud at all, but these fellows were talking like they were in some noisy club, talking international finance shit like the guys in The Big Short. Completely spoiled the atmosphere of the place, and we left just as soon as we finished our ‘za and beers.
