The crimes are going to go all the way up to Inauguration Day and beyond. My hope is Biden chooses a great AG and lets them handle it from there. Trump is an enemy of our democracy. He’s been hostile to it his entire presidential run.

I agree. I don’t always like Ari Melber, but he had an interesting piece on last night about how Biden needs to stay out of the argument about charges against the Trump administration. We can’t have the appearance that Biden has his own Bill Barr. Glenn Kirschner is making the same arguments. Get a good AG and appoint an independent commission to look into all of the crimes committed by in the last four years.

We should avoid screaming at Biden to take public stands about criminal matters. The ‘free’ press can investigate and report those crimes as much as they can, and some reporters are doing it really well, even if it’s not becoming front page news on all platforms.
