re: #243 Fozzie Bear

Um, yes they are. Do you have deer where you are?

Because there are an assload of them here, and deer don’t stay in dense woods. They prefer areas that border between forest and fields, and have no problem grazing in the open.

Cows aren’t generally afraid of deer, and the reverse is true too. Sometimes, they mingle.

My only problem was with the statement “Reminds me of opening day deer hunters who kill off half the cattle in the country.” not that you can see cows and deer grazing near by each other. Hell, there are so many deer in our neighborhood, my Garfield like cat can be seen lounging around while deer are grazing 20 feet away.

But not half the cattle in the country is getting killed on opening day of deer season. (My cat got grazed once).
