Since I’ve been making fun of the president for blowing smoke during his gay marriage dance the last couple of years I feel an obligation to come out in praise of him for taking a principled stand on a contentious issue….federalism and states rights. It’s a shame that his new support of states rights comes up on the wrong side of the gay marriage issue.
