What is and isn’t a felony can be changed by a simple sentence in an unread piece of legislation that is passed.
If our “elected officials” decided to pass a law that marrying a person they don’t want you to marry is a felony …. or looking a cop cross-eyed is a felony.
You get my point.
In my mind there is a line — rape, child molestation, pre-meditated murder, arson are things that cannot be excused. Having a joint in your pocket — ya’ know, I just don’t see that has major crime.
In otherwords three violent felonies, I’m positively inclined to that but Frank did bring up a valid point IMO that these laws lead to greater chances of violence and resistance.
