I saw your post on the last thread about the stealth socialized medicare plan hidden in the Porkzilla bill. That is something very much in need of exposure.

The Canadian system sort of works, with problems, but it is expensive. Provincial gov’t are continuously having to decide whether to increases services (and consequently increase taxes) or to cut services to reduce their budgets. Doctors are rushed, nurses are harried and hospitals are in decay.

On a personal note, my mother passed away over the weekend. My father is very heartbroken and we have all been pulling together to support each other. She was mostly asleep for the last week of her life & died peacefully without too much suffering.
