Van Jones was not chosen for his experience or resume, but basically because he’s sort of like a slightly younger West Coast version of Obama — highly intelligent African-American community organizer quickly rising through the political ranks. I wouldn’t be surprised if Van Jones is put forth as the Dem candidate in 2016 or 2020. He’s the Mini-One.
