Listened to about half of Al Franken podcast today so far. I think he is right that one of the first things the Dems need to do is take the John Lewis Voting Rights Act out of the omnibus House bill and make it a stand-alone. Make the Republicans vote on that after filibuster reform. Rand Paul is signaling what will undoubtedly be a bigger push than it already is: disenfranchise Black voters.

I really liked the idea of having 41 votes to create and/or sustain a filibuster rather than 60 to override it.
