Yeah, this is slightly better that the Big Bird thing but it’s still nonsense from a policy standpoint. I guess it’s mostly marketing executives selling candidates with catch phrases and slogans. It might work to sway some low information undecided voters but doesn’t really contribute to the conversation about the problems facing the country.

Pointing out that Romney speaks out of both sides of his mouth is not nonsense. It’s very important.

And don’t blame the candidates for what works and what doesn’t in a campaign. Blame the voters.
