Guns are designed to help people kill other people rapidly and efficiently even if the person wielding them is not physically strong. That is what guns are for. That is their existence. Pretending they are not that is weird to me.

Okay just my way of looking at this. We have a situation from which we can learn more than one lesson. The second lesson does not diminish the first. It expands our ability to prevent this kind of tragedy. Maybe it is so with low info people but certainly not around here.
