Morning, all. I’ve been reading up on Trump being a gold bug. Supposedly, he wants to replace Yellen with a gold standard-friendly Fed chairman, and then peg the dollar to gold.

aka “how to tank the US economy in two easy steps.”

That’s insane. There is not enough gold in the world, since they began mining gold, to cover the US’ nut.

We’d have to kill about 2/3 of ur current economy to get back on the gold standard, IIRC.
