What’s up with Dawkins? I see no mention of any trauma in his childhood on the Wiki machine that would cause this attention-whoring battle against all religion in any form. If he was molested or got regular beatings by the nuns, one could connect the dots to some psychological complex or grudge.

He grew up in an environment, exposed to Anglicanism, the most relaxed, science-friendly spin on Christianity anywhere, ever. Anglicans can shrug their shoulders and bend to anything. They take tolerance, they call it the “middle way” to extraordinary lengths…and Dawkins comes from this?!

Someone like Stephen J. Gould, who I saw in person once, is an atheist who can win more people to respecting science than Dawkins ever will. He’s just an attention whore, imho.
