Correct. The GOP was counting on the Tea Party to help them defeat Obama in 2012. That backfired, badly, so now they are desperately looking for a way out but they fucked themselves so badly to pander to the RWNJs that now the RWNJs are practically all they have left.

Throw them overboard and what’s left of the GOP?
