You can make an argument that appropriating symbols of a defeated enemy is a sign of victory. I was willing to give the English Prince the benefit of the doubt for wearing nazi fancy dress at a party if he had expressed that view. Black nationalists, very anti-Semitic, use the Star of David as a power symbol partly to yank the chain of passing jews. If pretty jewish girls tied keffiyahs around their hips when in bathing suits I would applaud the gesture.
