Yes, because you see, only property owners have ‘skin in the game’, much like how only people who pay Federal Income Tax have ‘skin in the game’, no matter how much of your income you might pay in OTHER taxes.

Basically it boils down to “Only people who will vote like me are legitimate voters. Everyone else should just accept our judgement.”
