The very article you posted confirms the use of the swastika by these protesters:

This is practically apologetics. Pelosi didn’t say that they were comparing Dems to Nazis, she said that the protesters were carrying swastikas.

If I told you that black clad youths in combat boots were marching through the streets of Germany carrying swastikas it paints a picture. If I failed to mention that they were crossed out or shattered swastikas, and they were protesters against fascism, I’m being duplicitous.

Nancy Pelosi in the recorded clip is clearly inferring that people protesting were also hoisting swastikas, full stop. Comparing your opposition to Nazis or Hitler is tacky and tasteless but it also ridiculously common and as the representative for her particular district Pelosi is probably much more aware of that than any politician in the world.
