They hire people as enumerators during every census. I worked for the Bureau for a few weeks in 1990. Worst job I ever had.

I know they do, I’m not stupid, but there seems to be an over kill going on. We have a local forum here in these hills, and there has been multiple threads on the over abundance of census workers running around up here.

And like I said above, my comment is only anecdotal, it’s just a feeling I have, I don’t have any proof if they purposely over hired.

But it’s something to consider.
