The people who died in Fort Hood were soldiers… they signed up and agreed to put their lives on the line… they doubtlessly didn’t expect to give their lives for America the way they ended up doing but they were ready for it all the same…

The people who were killed by the shootings in Arizona had no interest in making war… and that is what makes their deaths all the more tragic and regrettable…

I don’t think any soldier at Ft. Hood had planned to make war in a cafeteria… on base… in the United States.
