Their foundations would have to sink 900 feet into the ground to support those kinds of structures. While that is possible, I don’t think they have the resources to do it.

Must be alternate means of building tall structures on soils like that. Isn’t Mexico City basically on a muddy lake bed? So it’s been an ongoing design issue.
