I think we would actually have to pass a constitutional amendment stating that the president and vice president are required to sell everything down to a single home, mutual funds, and cash in order to take the oath to prevent having what Trump has.

Even if this were done, so what? We have just had it proven in great detail that an unimpeachable US president is above all laws and customs.
