The Dems have a sufficient majority that they could pass the bill today, hands down. There is no need other than CYA to attempt to get Independents and the Republicans on board. O, Pelosi, and Reid just need a scapegoat when this Rape of America goes bad.

They already have that. The inflatable punching-clown known as “W” is always good for a few more rounds.
